Open Championship Picks | Royal Troon (2024)

The last time Royal Troon hosted The Open we were gifted one of the great Major championship duels of the modern era.

Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson seperated themselves from the field and went nuclear.

Stenson eventually prevailed - winning by 3 shots - a margin which does not truly depict how close their battle was.

The seperation was gargantuan.

That's a word I never thought I'd use but seems fitting for the dust they left behind them.

So what will we see this year?

At Troon the weather ALWAYS plays a part. Located on the west coast of Scotland - this course can get the teeth of weather fronts hitting the north of the UK.

The Goat Track lads did some research and recorded their thoughts in Episode 32.
